Making That First Move for Kitchen Makeover
There comes a time in every home owner’s life when they realise that big expenditure is just around the corner. The moment has arrived at my door. I now have the house to myself and and do what I like, when I and how I please. I prostrastinate and kick ideas about, leave it for a while, then when something actually stops working, doubling the cost of the original job, then I get going! Now is the time to be replacing my kitchen. It’s given almost 20 years service and is so sadly worn out. The work tops are very faded, the cork is now making its way out from under the laminate edge; the stainless steel sink works but no longer cleans and shines up and the universal tap – ooh it’s grim! The decision whether to rip out the cabinets and have a full make over does make sense, so I’m now at the contractor quote request stage. Hope they’re quicker than I am with actions!
