When Leaking Shower Head Triggers Full Ensuite Refit
Just looking at the illustration of plumbing tools makes me feel slightly queasy and anxious. I have only ever had theo odd minor skirmish with anything plumbing based. Quite a few years ago we had problems with the shower unit in the ensuite – it sprung aleak where the seal had cracked between the head and the main hose. I tried the old ‘plumbers mate’ special waterproof sealing tape and that lasted for a couple of days but it was never going to be more than an immediate & short term fix. Fortunately a family pal put me in touch with a really good plumber and after an initial fault fnding visit, he persuaded me to upgrade the whole lot to a much more user friendly electronic push button shower and larger, easier of access cubicle. Having Looked at the fabulous bathroom showroom near my office, I decided to go for it big time and have a full ensuite and bathroom refit. The best thing I could have done. We still love using these rooms every day.
